*TEXT: Heb 12:3*

*LESSONS*
Storms in form of challenges are part of the tools God uses to prove and mature our faith. James by the Spirit admonishes us to count it all joy when we face diverse temptations and trials because its end-point is perfection. Test comes before trust. Trust brings divine commitment. What is yours will not be released to you until you have been tested of safe handling. Treasure can become poison if not handled with wisdom. It attracts attacks from hell also, which it takes understanding to withstand. Hence, count it all joy when the father is taking you through the process of maturation.
James 1:2 – 3. It is not you that is being tested but your faith in Him. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith will not fail in the temptations of the devil (Luke 22:32).

Doctrinal firmness will be a major test for those who will be pillars in the faith.
First, is your priority of seeking for truth above that of looking for anything that works and secondly is standing in the truth you discovered your priority?

Are you a pillar in the making? You would be tested by the storm. Hold to your faith in Him.

The only solution to standing tall and walking over the storm is to consider Him. This means to be totally taken over by the revelation of His finished works the same way He was completely taken over by seeing the glory of the Father while He was on this earth. He despised all the criticism of the opposers because His gaze was fixed on the glory of the Father.
So consider Him and not the storm. Consider His sacrifice for you, the blood shed for you, His love, His mercy, His Spirit in you which quickens the dead(Roman 8:11).
His grace which is at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Consider Him and you will see miracles and the kingdom take effect on the situation. Peace in the midst of storms is one of the fruits of the heart that is steadily fixed on Christ. Miracles follow. Fix your heart and gaze on Him and you will walk triumphantly inspite of the storm (Matt 14:28). You are rising above the storm as you consider Him this morning in Jesus name.

*PRAYER ALERT*
Receive the grace to be immoveable in storms in Jesus name (1Corithian 15:58)
