*TOPIC: MOUNTAIN LIFE*
*TEXT: Matthew 17:1* _And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart_
*LESSON*
In our text today we see Jesus going to a high mountain with just three of his disciples. This signifies something important. It means Jesus sees the mountain as a place of secrecy. A place where deep things are revealed and uttered to men.
The secret to supernatural living is in having uncommon secrets. Jesus took these three men aside to be alone with him on a personal trip so he could reveal himself to them and be transfigured in their presence. It is only friends that enjoy such rare privilege. We too must be able to climb high with Jesus to get the mysteries of the kingdom hidden to mean men around us.
Psalms 87:1
_His foundation is in the holy mountains._
David knew the secrets of the secret place. He walked with God to the extent he knew that God keeps his foundation in the mounts. The highest mountain is found in his presence. We must crave his presence so much as his children. The presence is the secret place and is the place of revelation for supernatural living.
*PRAYER ALERT*
Lord! Grant me grace to overcome hindrances that keeps me away from being with you.
Lord!deliver into my hands the keys for supernatural living.
