*TOPIC: GREATNESS BY GRACE*
*TEXT: Luke 19:2*
_”And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.”_
*LESSONS*
A man may be rich and not great! Zacchaeus was wealthy but not great. A man without integrity in his profile and Ignorant of the ways of God has lost the main asset that should be communicated to the coming generation. No legacy! His memory will be wiped off after his demise. True greatness is seen even after the absence of the man. Every man is born to make a lasting imprint by reading a script written by God on the face of the earth (Rev 5:1). Though Zacchaeus was wealthy, he was an unfulfilled man. He did not have eternal life which only grace could give. He could not fulfil God’s plan for his life. He was an empty vessel. This emptiness pushed him to seek true greatness through grace.
Grace makes you what God ordained you to be. When grace comes in, he will bring out the master plan and start reading the script written. In Rev 5:1-4, no Angel could open the scroll except grace in person. They had power but only grace has the right and the authority. It is not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord (Zech 4:6).
Do you seek to fulfill purpose; you want to say that you have accomplished your course as grace said it? JESUS is grace in person(Jn 1:14) and Paul is grace revealed in man(1 Cor 15:10). If you have been wasting grace under the works of the flesh like Samson, stop and run the race so that you don’t have regrets. This Delilah is delicate and destructive. Mortify the deeds of the flesh so that grace can find expression.
Zacchaeus restituted his past when grace came in. You will not be ashamed of the past when you see grace that produces the better future. Let go and see the works of grace!
Thank you father because I have the grace that produces the true greatness, I walk in this onward as I face the glorious future I have in Christ
*PRAYER ALERT*
Every seed of greatness in me begins to germinate today in Jesus name. Amen
