*TEXT: Gen 1:26*
_God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature so they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, and, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth._

In the text above, being in charge of the earth is to have additional responsibilities. Responsibility without capacity is a disaster. God created the man to be responsible for, to look after, and to take care of all other things he has created and that is why he loaded us with such abilities. A bachelor who got married without preparation for additional responsibilities will be in a mess. Leadership is not for enjoyment but for work! The benefits that lie in great positions are not released until the duties are discharged. Focus on the responsibilities that the place of your dream demands and get equipped for it. That is the best way to fulfill purpose in life. That is the only way we can fulfill his mandate for us.

Beloved, where has God revealed to you as your calling, assignment? Look for the task that lies in those offices and start real work. Enlarge your capacity for the release of what God has prepared for you (Isaiah 54:1-2).The throne God prepared for Joseph was released to him when his preparation was completed (Gen 41:14).Likewise Moses was ushered into the realm of the supernatural as a prophet when his training was completed ( Ex 3:1).He was also trained with responsibilities. Taking responsibilities at your level prepares you for greater responsibilities at higher levels. The baton in the hand of the apostles after the departure of the master confers on them the responsibility to pilot the church of Christ (Matt 28:18).

1. You have an assignment
2. The responsibility it has must be discharged before the authority it carries can be experienced.
3. Get prepared for what God has spoken
4. It is him that is at work in you, let grace work
5. Return all glory to God always through thanks giving.

Lord prepare me for the task you have prepared for me. Amen
