*TOPIC: THE ALTAR AND THE GLORY*
*TEXT: Lev 6:12-13*
_The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out._
*LESSONS*
Our body is the temple of God ( 1 Cor 3:16) and our heart is the altar of God. If we shall be filled with manifestation of the glory of God as the old testament temple experienced, this principle marked out for the priest is inevitable for us all.
The altar is the point of access to the spirit realm. Either positive or negative , altars obey same principle. Whenever you get to an altar, it an access point just like Jacob experienced in bethel as he slept that night. A ladder of grace connected to the heavenly realm which permitted exchange was revealed to him( Gen 28:11-16).The covenant made God to establish the promise of communion but that time was what God was waiting for and behold he finally exclaimed that he was in the house of God where divinity is manifesting in humanity and he left with assurance in his pilgrim.
Men with altars are men with encounters. They walk in well defined divine counsel because they are men of access.
This is a compulsory lifestyle for the covenant children to operate as the led priests and kings on this earth. Jacob was a covenant child but only through such communion could the blessings of God in his life be manifested.
How is your personal altar? Is there fire on it? If you want the glory of God to fill your life like it fills the temple , then, the fire must never go out!
*PRAYER ALERT*
FATHER,THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORD,I RECEIVE THE GRACE FOR DEEP COMMUNION WITH YOU IN JESUS NAME!
