*TOPIC: TWO KINDS OF DARKNESS*
*TEXT: 1 Cor 1:18*
_For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God._
*LESSONS*
The fall of man brought two basic kinds of darkness: the external and the internal darkness.
The external darkness was the product of the work of the devil ( 1 John 3:8) while the internal became the product of the manifestation of the carnal nature.
When the redemption agenda was to be implemented, the internal darkness was emptied by the power of Christ’s death on the cross so that this new temple can be filled with the glory of God once again. Thereafter, this glory within will shine and dispel the darkness outside. This is the circumcision of the saints which was done by the cross. Carrying the cross daily is a great mystery that produces the manifestation of the glory within as this outer shell is rendered powerless.
Beloved, let the glory from within shine through the power of the cross! Anything that needs circumcision can only be circumcised by the cross where it dies and then you have a new one that is alive in the will of God alone. So, your only language will be: thy will be done alone. No selfish ambition. You will easily find joy and peace in divine leadership when the cross is at work. Since you are dead, you live now by his grace, his strength, his power and his provision. He lives in you fully. Do away with taking pride in your skills, talents etc. They all must be circumcised by the cross not one by one but all at once Then they become instruments of righteousness to display his glory. You will see peace like a river by the leadership of the Spirit. Glory to God.

I receive light on the futility of life in the flesh so that his glory can find expression in me in the name of Jesus (Phil 3:8)
