TEXT: Jer 29:11-12(TLB)
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope

A plan is a drawing showing technical details of a building ,machine etc or a set of intended actions, usually mutually related through which one expects to achieve a goal.

In the text above, God is speaking as the father of the universe. He has plan for each one he created before he creates them. Likewise, every family must have solid practical plan for each child. Before you give your children money, you must give them a plan.

Nothing is more secured than to have parents with a solid plan which is in line with the plan of God. That is why we must have effective relationship with God, so that we can receive God’s plan for each children and make it real: this is our assignment. Child rearing is an assignment. You may marry and not have children if you are not ready rather than contributing to the community problem. Marriage is primarily for companionship (Gen 2:18)

All hopeless or futureless men you see come from homes that have no plan or future for them. God himself said he sat and thought then made a plan for each man he created as the father of the whole universe. Many families have no thought or plan for the children. Why do you want children? What will they become and how will you raise them? What are the materials you have? Some will just decide to have ten children with no solid reason and plan. Don’t say I like to have certain number of children, that is the beginning of struggle. Give birth to the number you have plans for. Some of these fundamental mistakes have caused the earth to be in disarray and raise useless prayer points in churches! Why should a teenager be running around for school fees when his parents are alive? Some of these children have become victims of predators and fake prophets. In a part of this nation, the most common business among female students in a particular school is prostitution. When you research well, almost all are due to irresponsibility of parents who are void of plans for their future. Some prayer points will not be needed if home should function in correct Government!
Susanna Wesley took responsibility over each child. Work out her plans in practical actions and produces kingdom arrows.

Next to this is monitoring. When you shoot an arrow, it is moving against the winds to reach a target. There are many winds that will not want God’s plan for your children to come to pass. You must monitor and ensure they progress against these winds especially corrupt social practices, heretic teaching, peer influences. To ensure this, Susanna Wesley created time for each child per day to identify their personal struggles and guide them by the word of God. As you rise to this task, you are bless in Jesus name.

Father, unfold your plans to all parents so that we can have a godly homes in Jesus name.
