RELEASING THE LIFE WITHIN
TEXT:John 12:3
Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume
LESSONS
The life we carry within as a believer is like fragrance but how can it be expressed daily in our walk with God? When the perfume was released, people knew something was released ,it had no need for advertisement. It changed the atmosphere became attractive, sweet smelling and interesting. What is the component of the fragrance that makes it that attractive in our lives today? It is real and we ought to release the life as fragrance in the decaying world daily.
Paul spoken the same truth in 2 Cor 2:14” But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him”NIV.
We see the component of this fragrance here: the knowledge of God everywhere. Acting accurately according to the will of God on every matter will cause the release of the life within which will be seen as a character that looks like him ,so people may see gentleness, selflessness, purity ,kindness and power of God but within you, you just act on the light of the word( that you are a Christian and Christ lives in you).What will Jesus do becomes the literal standard and the inner voice of the Spirit becomes so much real than the pressure of the circumstance without.
Brokenness of the outer man (flesh),losing confidence in our own ability ,seeing ourselves as being worse without and therefore rendering judgement with mercy in our dealing with others are key if we will be easily led by the Spirit. The power will be released if we are accurately led to do according to his will in all situations. God is committed to his will. In every revival move, you will see that outworking of grace that brings men to such a realm of total dependence on God and loss of confidence in the flesh. So, the Holy Spirit can easily manifest himself in diverse forms through them.
Do you want to see the life of God within manifesting through you? have you been having the conflict of what you want to do within is not what is being expressed without? stop living by effort. Lose all self confidence and be grace confident. See grace to walk absolutely in him. See nothing in yourself if not Christ, see yourself as being wrong in any conflict that might arise until proven otherwise and you give God the chance to justify himself in you .The one who has vindicated himself does not need God’s vindication any longer. When God vindicates men He does it in doing diverse wonders that are undeniable. God is the one that justifies men that truly serve Him. Let him work, Jesus is alive, active and responsible. Let him live in you and through you.
PRAYER ALERT
I receive the full scope of the revelation of Jesus in me and His manifestation through me. Amen
