TOPIC: HOW DID PRAYER BEGAN?
TEXT: Gen 4:26 (NIV)
Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh.
At that time men began to call on the name of the Lord.
LESSONS
Until this point, man had continuous connection and communication with God. There was no special place for prayer mentioned. There was direct communication between the natural and the supernatural. No dichotomy between the two. Hearing God does not need special time for seeking. Man was outrightly part of the trinity. He partook of divine counsel directly without any intermediate.
But when the separation took place, men only met the history of such life and so , they began to call upon the name of the Lord. We shall not know a better yesterday in Jesus name. History made men to trace their step and began to pray. God answered and sent Christ.
They wanted that relationship, connection back. That reconnection was only fully done in Christ, when God relocated into man through the Holy Ghost and made him his temple.
This is the time to experience true communion and bring down the divine into the natural because Christ has paid it all. Prayer can now be sweet, what they cried for has now returned. Glory be to God! You can have sweet communion again, you can be part of divine counsel, you can see, walk in, contain the glory of God. Halleluyah!
PRAYER ALERT
Thank you Father for all you have done in my life. I walk in this new realm of communion henceforth in the name of Jesus.
