TOPIC: BURNT BUT NOT BURNING

TEXT: Luke 10:41-42
Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

LESSON
A man that will burn for God must not be burnt with lust of the flesh because fire of the passion of the flesh is a strange fire that kills.

He must not be burnt with the worries and cares of this world else the seed be choked up like the seed that fell among the thorns( Matt 13).

He must be deeply rooted and hooked in kingdom matters till he is totally taken over!

Luke 10:41-42

Matt 6:33-34
Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative and God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Let me talk more about the worries of life because it is the most subtle. Worries bring sickness, depression, aging, death etc. In fact worry is the worst of all problems. Until a problem makes you to worry, it is still a challenge under control. What makes a man to worry is the lack of idea of solution to a challenge.Then the fellow become disteessed! But if you indeed believe that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you ,then why worry?

Instead ,you should seek Him and get the solution.

A challenge will become a problem only if you refuse to seek him for answer on tim.You shall get divine illuimination today over matter of distress to you in the name of Jesus ! The wine finished but Mary knew that that challenge is not a problem as long as the master is present( John 2:3). If Jesus is in your boat,no storm can sink you, if Jesus is in the ceremony, the new wine shall flow again!
