TOPIC: RELEASE OF THE SPIRIT

TEXT: John 7:38-39 AMP
He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. But He was speaking here of the Spirit, whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor)

LESSONS

The craving of the Spirit for expression through your spirit is the river that flows and waters the desert of lives. It is impossible to be unfruitful if the river is flowing. Devil renders people barren by laying hold of their weaknesses in the flesh and shutting down the flow of the prophetic in their spirit. This is what is termed the sin that easily entangles (Heb 12:1). When such act is committed, the flesh become empowered and the spirit becomes weak though not dead. When we say the prophetic it means sensing what the Spirit says per moment. Every believer is expected to operate in this manner. Hearing God will never be a problem if you know how to let this river flow. This is the belly, the heart where all issues, substances of life come from (prov 4:23). If it is what flows from the spirit that takes over your mind, that is what you will manifest by default. If it is the flesh that is ruling the soul, that is what will predominate. But if you are truly born again you will lack peace if the carnal nature is the one ruling. There will be a de-alignment: you will have an uneasiness within you. That is a signal that things are out of order. You should take time to examine things in the Spirit and put it in shape. Light will shine and you will have your peace. Teachings and instructions that align you back at that moment become your heritage in your Christian Journey. You should write them down and keep record of such. That is what we refer to as dealings. Dealings are simply your learnings. Where you went out of order and he called you back to order. Where the word of God you have known was practically implemented in your circumstance and becomes more real to you. This is the fabrics of your building. Where you see the miraculous act of God been demonstrated like never before and your eyes get opened. Some call it encounters but the semantic notwithstanding, it is simply the things of the Spirit becoming real like never before. Such light changes you permanently because it affects your Spirit man. As you yield to such consistent revelation and leadership of the Spirit on daily basis, the river keeps increasing in depth (Ezekiel 47:3-7) Some are slow like Thomas in this growth and some are apt to learn. You determine your growth speed not God. He has opened the door of abundance. Don’t let your personality cage you, break out of slumber, avoid haste and impatience also. Follow the guide of the Spirit. Have faith to have God’s best.
Let the river flow from your spirit by acknowledging the leadership of the Spirit always. It may be senseless but that is the way to supernatural living.
