TOPIC: UNCAP THE WELL

TEXT: John 7:38-40
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. On hearing his words, some of the people said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.”

LESSONS
When Satan rebelled, the power bestowed on him was still left with him but he was judged with no remedy. A ban was placed on him and was cast out of the Kingdom of light. His wisdom, power became corrupted and useless to the Kingdom. Though it was a great loss to the Kingdom, yet the King of Kings need not to be perplexed. He made man and fell to the same trap, however there was a way out of man‘s predicament. The deposit of God in man was not also taken away after the fall but just like a house filled with electric driven equipments like fan ,electric bulb but not connected to power source will look dormant, that was the exact thing that happened to man after fall. All the potentials, latent ability became encrypted. The source of life (zoe) was disconnected. Man lost his real beauty and glory which are a reflection of the full functionality of capacity in him. You can imagine the coldness felt in a room where the fan and the AC are working or the warmer in the temperate region of the world. If not warmer in some part of the warm, you might be frozen. These and many other more were the functional disasters that happened to man after the fall. The real man inside was frozen; what a disaster!

Motivating into functionality without the connection to the power source can be likened to using hand to move the fan blade and simulate its normal functionality. This is the struggle to performance that men encounter since the fall. It takes too much effort to bring out the depth that is in man. Many gave up on the way. It became a pursuit, a goal, hard work to even turn the smallest bulb to shine the light in you to the world. Darkness took over; failure took over, confusion, sickness and others.

Degeneration is lack of functionality. Anything not put to use will soon degenerate! Men so degenerated that we were classified with animal! But man is eternal from the eternal God and it will take only eternity to unleash the full deposit of God in man. We are far from animal as scientists said. We are in the class of God.

When Christ came, in him was the current which powers all the appliances, potentials, callings in man( John 1:4,5).As this light shines, the God likeness in man start showing forth to the dimension we can see , believe and walk in. The text above says the rivers will flow continuously to eternity.

No intermittent power supply. What is this about? The Holy Ghost will come in the fullness of his potential and God in man model will be activated again. Now with the Holy Ghost in a man,a fresh game has begun ! Exercise it to the unlimited limit God wipers to our Spirit but this take faith because of this limited body. But by faith, this river of potentials, power , glory, ability can still flow again. Now you can uncap the well by faith in this truth. Connect to the power source through regular communion, unfold all the departments and let the river flows. Glory to God! Work out the solution, come out that depth, come out of that sin, take leadership, you can solve that problem!
