TOPIC: SATISFIED BY THE FATHER

TEXT: John 6:55-57 (NIV)

For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

LESSON

When Jesus wanted to produce sons from multitude who have eaten the manna in the wilderness, he started the teaching on the source of true satisfaction which was to eat his flesh and drink his blood, then live for his course.This is simply what son has. Multitude look for where things are, sons are looking for where he is . The disciples in sonship process look for him but multitude wait for another miracle meetings. They know his doing and are far from close relationship with his person.True sons are satisfied by what the father has!

some even compare what devil can give with what God can give and make choices based on these. Such cannot touch the real kingdom glory. Some compare assignments with each other and choose carnally. No wonder so much disorderliness in the body of Christ. A son looks for the father’s will and he is satisfied by it. Those named by God but no sonship in them has manipulated some scriptures to express their greediness like ‘’who ever findeth a wife….,what is the problem in the father choosing a wife for you? If you want to be independent of the father in your choices, you are are not a son. Glory only rest upon the son.

PRAYER ALERT

Father, satisfy my heart by your will and decorate me with the glory of the son (John 7:22)
