TOPIC: ORDER OF THE NEW WINE(3)
TEXT: John 2:7
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
LESSON
There is another critical instruction for the new wine.
All the vessels must be filled before drawing the wine.The filling must be complete. Do not forget that the wine had already finished before they started fetching into the jars.The demand is much but the process must be followed. Many have only prolonged their journey as they were too much in haste to follow divine process. What will be drawn will be ordinary water except you get filled with the word and the Spirit.Wait to be filled. Yielding to pressures only leads to waste of the treasures in you. Many make haste in marriage just to enter a home like a cage and waste the divine resources in them. Haste leads to waste. Speed is needed but haste is wasteful. When God grants you speed, he increases your abilities to follow the process but haste will truncate the divine process. Don’t abort what God is doing by haste, wait on him and follow all instructions.
We have a pandemic at hand yet God will still take his time to raise vessels for change because his standard remains the same. Never make hasty decisions but rather faithful decisions. As long you obey him, you are safe.
Lastly, if you don’t know the full capacity of the vessel, how will you know when it is filled up? You must see yourself in Christ.Your full capacity is who Christ is.You were made in his image. God made this statement to establish the extent of the capacity of man! Glory to God. The capacity will be filled as you give the Spirit room for free expression and these are the vessels of glory.
PRAYER ALERT
Fill me Lord till i begin to overflow. Make me a vessel of your light in this present darkness in Jesus name. Amen.
