TOPIC: GRACE NEVER GIVE UP

TEXT:Judges 16:14
And she did so and fastened it with the pin and said to him, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he awoke out of his sleep and went away with the pin of the [weaver’s] beam and with the web

LESSONS
Though an imperfect example; the life of Samson shows how God can be so patient with a man.

God is not too quick to switch off the flow of grace in a man’s life. In fact, sometimes, when a man is failing grace tends to increase the more in order to help the man like the case of Samson.

Strictly religious people may even be angry with God thinking: why can’t you judge this man immediately, like the Pharisees. They were always accusing Jesus of over pampering the sinner.

Even when Samson was working against the will of God, grace was much more available to help him out.Not as an approval of his life but to rescue a giant about to be lost. This is the Grace Emergency Response. That is an act of God’s love. This does not approve such a live.If such a person persist in such wrong life ,he will eventually fail from the grace.

Grace Never Fails. It is the Power of God in man.The grace available is much more abundant. If Samson will experience this much before failing and was given room for repentance, it will take outright deliberate denial of Christ for God to give up on a man that has once been saved. We must not misread Hebrew 6:4-6 and some other scriptures to undermine the efficacy of the grace we have in Christ. In fact, the fellow must move out of Christ for that to happen. In Christ, there is abundance of grace.

Beloved, how far have you gone from the Lord or lingering behind like Lot(Gen 19:16)? See what the hand of grace did: he was set forth without the city. The Lord will restore you to the place you should be in Jesus name.It is a moment of restoration.

PRAYER ALERT
I receive the grace that gives the strength to be where I ought to in Jesus name.(Heb. 12:28,Eph. 4:7)
