*TEXT: Phil 2:7-8*
_But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:_ _And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross._
*LESSONS*
The only way to be filled is to be empty. Already filled vessels must be set aside(2 King 4:4).When your hunger for God stops, you’ve stopped growing! The first step Jesus took to be the son in manifestation( even though he has been with the father since creation) was to empty himself of his self content,glory and be committed to pursue the fathers course. Without such deliberate decision ,no consecration, no space to receive because the heart is filled with something else. God’s principle may not be clear because the mind is beclouded. Little challenge may throw you out of course because the devil knows the password of your emotion. It is when self has been emptied that Christ can be formed in us. This is what made fellowship the only way to life. In disconnection,you feel like a dead man. You will live in total communion and the power that follows will be undeniable. Note,it must be in faith .
Verse 9 of the text above states the reason for his elevation to authority. It was because he obeyed till death.This same authority has been apportioned to him from the beginning but will never manifest on this earth except that he followed even unto death.
God has a plan and a path for you where you are to represent him.Obedience and true sonship is the only pathway to manifest this glory(John 17:22)
