*TEXT*: Ps 119:89-91

_Forever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in the heavens. Thy faithfulness is from generation to generation thou hast established the earth, and it standeth. By thine ordinances they stand this day for all things are thy servants_

*LESSONS*
The word of God key for maturity ,faith etc .It is only by the word that we rule the world. When lost his word,he lost the world!

The word of God must not and cannot be separated from His person. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was GOD (John 1:1). He exalted His word above His name (Psa.138:2). The word is the very substance of God and so exhibits the very characteristics of God in person.
So, knowing who he is makes us know what the word of God represents. God is self-sufficient so also word of God has no supplementary list to make it complete. As God is powerful, so also the word. It is the power of God. God does everything by His word through His spirit. As God is love, so is the word (1 John 4:1).
The word is a love letter from a loving God and not a judgement verdict from an angry Judge. The love of God is supreme out of all His nature. This made Him to always be in the act of sharing till he shared Himself into man. Gave His only begotten Son for our redemption and gave us the same place of Sonship. All without any reason. Just His nature of love in display. As He is Holy; so is the word. The list is endless.
So, when the word is well divided and applied, His result is certain. Nothing can hinder it except we choose not to give room for Him in our lives. Whatever God says is settled. He cannot lie; not that He will not lie, because truth is His nature.
In the same vein, the intention of the word is to show us the way to Him. He is seeking for relationship not willing to condemn. Jesus is the word in the flesh form (John 1:4). Our relationship with God as a Father must be put into perspective when dealing with the word.
The word of God is tested (Psalm 18:30). Don’t try the word maybe it will work. Devil will defeat such a life. But believe it must work. Heaven and earth may pass away but a simple jot of his word will not pass away without being fulfilled. As rain falls to the ground and does not return except it has wet the earth, making plants yield their fruits; so the word (Isaiah 55:8). God speaks the conclusion before starting the process. What he has created is what is being made. The word has creative power and supervise every events and processes to achieve its ends. It bends to nothing but everything bends to it. The word is Spirit. To be filled with the word (living word) is to filled with the Spirit.

Father,open my eyes to your word in a new way in the name of Jesus!
