*TOPIC:I WILL NOURISH YOU AND YOUR LITTLE ONES*
*TEXT: Genesis 50:21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them. .
*LESSONS*
Humans are prone to worry about the future. They think about their security and sustenance because they are limited as a being. Sometimes the past evil makes them doubt God’s faithfulness for days ahead.
Such a promise that we have of God today is so comforting. This is God’s promise in Christ. Joseph actually said it to his brothers. But who is Joseph to boast of such a magnanimous help?We saw that himself died and Israelites were brutally punished. Only the God who cannot die or change position can give such a promise. He has the power to not just feed but to nourish us with the best. Jesus paid the price for us to enter the promise. We are in the promise land as long as we are in Christ.
This morning, lets think of the greatness of this promise from God. Lets be thankful to Him for he said He will nourish us and our little ones. He has a divine insurance for our children too. Praise him because no matter how hard it is now, God’s promise will find a way to fulfill his words to you and your children. His word is yes and amen!
*PRAYER ALERT*
Lord ! I bless you because you will nourish me and my children. I receive your nourishment into my life in Jesus name.
