*TOPIC:The Solid Christian*
*TEXT: Luke 6:38*
_Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again._
*LESSON*
We established yesterday that a _gaseous christian_ has little cohesive force within him, his molecules are not gathered, neither is he. He can fill all the room, but he has a small volume. So deceptive a lifestyle! Today we continue into the next state of matter that happens after being pressed down, which is solid state. It is the combined effect of pressing down and shaking together that makes a Christian solid.
The vessel was shaken to allow for spaces in it. If it is not pressed down very well, shaking can spill the contents. Shaking together is good for _solid christians_ because it provides for alignments, connections of bones to bones and sinews to sinews. No shaking, no growth. Shaking reveals the spaces that remains unfilled in us. It shows us potentials untapped. If we are not shaken, we are not changed. Only _solid christians_ can endure the pain and discomfort of shaking. In shaking, you sometimes lose people and things to gain more in the long run.
*Ezekiel 37:7*
_So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone._
In conclusion, there is no revival without a shaking. This is because churches and individuals have settled in tradition and religious complacency. A solid Christian is known by his willingness to evolve , to be shaken and his desire to connect with other people. A solid Christian is maximising every space of his life because the particles of his life have found divine alignment and repositioning.
