*TEXT: Luke 6:38*
_Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again._

The promises of God are anchored to our souls and are guarantors of our victory in the storms of life.Today, we want to continue by saying that when we accepted Christ’s life, He used a good measure for us. He didn’t cheat us and he wouldn’t. His intention isn’t to use us to work like our fore fathers who gave birth to many children to help them in their farming works. The measure God gave us was perfect. He didn’t just call us Saints, He actually gave us the power to become one. Indeed, the gift was greater than the offense. It was superfluous and too good to be true for the wise in this world.

*Romans 5:15:* _But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many._

We were like prisoners condemned to death whom his advocate laid his life down for. Of course, this gesture was way too high. Yet the advocate won’t stop at this. He gave him his estate and willed all he had for him. The favour is unfathomable and too extravagant, uncalled for and undeserving. _This is called Grace._ Grace is what makes us to breakdown in years of appreciation when what we deserved is condemnation, failure, sickness and death. God gave us a good measure. He was fair and more than being fair. He was richly gracious.

As we close, with what measure did you accept Christ? Love so amazing and so divine demands our soul, our lives and our all. The reason why we don’t enjoy this measure from him might be because the measure we gave him was sparing. Think on this…

*Mark 4:24* _And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given._

Lord! I repent over any way i haven’t given you the full measure, when You are ready to give me the fullest measure. Today, I lay it all down to receive your abundance in JESUS name.
